Advancing the Practice of Student-Centered Learning

Sessions  reflect the best thinking in the field, informed by theory, research, and practice and cognizant of issues related to equity.  They answer questions such as:

  • What does personalized learning mean?  What role does project- and inquiry-based learning play?

  • How can personalized learning initiatives be used to support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts?

  • What role can and should apprenticeships play in K-12, and how can blended, competency-based, and project-based practices set students up for post-secondary success?

  • What does data-driven instruction look like in a classroom dominated by personalized, project- and inquiry-based learning approaches?

  • How can technology enable personalized, student-centered learning?

  • What strategies can school leaders use to successfully manage the change associated with new learning models?

The overall program includes a diverse array of presenters and perspectives, allowing us to pool our collective wisdom and knowledge to support one of the largest transformation efforts in education.  We bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing attendees hands-on learning solutions, ideas, and practices to immediately implement in their classroom, school, and district.
